The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an 3D Visualisation Specialist to join our Interior Design Team in Melbourne. This role is critical to elevating the visual quality of our design presentations and client deliverables. This role will bring ideas to life, taking plans, architectural illustrations and other reference materials and using these to produce photo-realistic 3D images or animations of proposed buildings and developments.
As a 3D visualiser, the role will require both a creative and technical mindset, in order to model prospective designs that will both function well and look good. The role will collaborate closely with our interior designers and documentors to produce high-end, photorealistic renders that reflect Studio 103’s design excellence and brand identity.
The role will report to the Studio Associates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality, photorealistic 3D renders and animations for interior design projects.
- Develop immersive 3D walkthroughs and VR models to bring design concepts to life.
- Collaborate with designers to interpret ideas and deliver compelling visualisations.
- Maintain and organise a library of 3D assets, textures, and templates.
- Support marketing and tender submissions with visual content.
- Stay up to date with the latest rendering software and industry trends.
About You:
- 3 years’ experience in 3D modelling and rendering, particularly for interiors.
- Proficiency inAutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Suite, Sketchup and Enscape.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous 3D visualization work.
- Excellent understanding of architectural principles and spatial layouts.
- Attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Photorealistic rendering, including lighting and texturing
- Understanding of project management
- Attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to understand working drawings and detailing
- Always demonstrates integrity with a strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Works well within a team and independently
