The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Interior Designer to join our Interior Design Team in Melbourne.

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will bring fresh ideas to projects, contribute to our collaborative approach to design, mentor junior team members, and play a key role in delivering exceptional design outcomes across a range of sectors, including commercial, workplace, retail, hospitality and residential projects. You'll work closely with Associates, Directors, clients, consultants and stakeholders to lead projects from concept through to delivery while maintaining Studio 103's high standards of design excellence.

This role reports directly to the Associate and provides leadership and guidance to the wider design team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead interior design projects from concept through to delivery.

• Develop design concepts, presentations and project documentation.

• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers.

• Coordinate site visits and ensure design intent is maintained throughout delivery.

• Mentor and support junior designers, contributing to team growth and development.

• Review project documentation to ensure quality, accuracy and design excellence.

• Contribute to business development, industry networking and studio initiatives.

About You:

• Degree qualified in Interior Design or a related discipline, preferably.

• 8+ years' experience across commercial, workplace, retail, hospitality and/or residential projects.

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Enscape and Microsoft Office.

• Strong design, documentation and project delivery skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• A collaborative team player who enjoys mentoring and supporting others.

• Highly organised, detail-oriented and passionate about great design.
