We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Coordinator to join our Projects team in Melbourne.
In this role, you will coordinate and support the successful delivery of construction projects by managing project resources, procurement, financial administration, stakeholder communication and project documentation, while ensuring quality, safety, budget and programme objectives are achieved. You will also provide guidance and support to junior Project Coordinators and work closely with project teams, clients, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver exceptional project outcomes. You will report directly to the Project Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate project administration, procurement, resources, documentation and communication to support successful project delivery from pre-construction through to completion.
Manage project financial processes including claims, variations, invoices, forecasting, cash flow and budget tracking in accordance with company procedures.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
Support project quality, safety and compliance requirements, while mentoring and developing junior Project Coordinators and contributing to a positive team culture.
ABOUT YOU
Successful applicants must have:
A qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience coordinating construction projects of similar size, scope and complexity, with strong knowledge of project management systems, financial processes and contract administration.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, manage competing priorities and contribute to the development of junior team members.
Experience with Procore, Buildlogic or similar project management software will be highly regarded.
