We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Projects team in Melbourne.
In this role, you will manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, resource optimisation, budget control, stakeholder coordination and project delivery, ensuring project objectives, quality standards, timelines and client expectations are met or exceeded and report directly to the Project Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage project scope, budgets, programs, procurement, variations and resources to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Coordinate project teams, clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project objectives and maintain strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project performance, financials, risks and quality outcomes, conducting regular project reviews and ensuring all project documentation is maintained in line with company requirements.
Lead and mentor project team members, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and uphold McCormack's health, safety and environmental standards across all project activities.
ABOUT YOU
Successful applicants must have:
A qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline, together with a Construction White Card and the ability to obtain required safety certifications.
Demonstrated experience delivering construction projects of similar size, scope and complexity, with strong knowledge of project management methodologies, systems and processes.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership skills, supported by strong commercial, financial and contractual acumen and proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
