GETTING OUR HANDS DIRTY FOR A GREENER FUTURE
A career is about more than the work you do each day. It’s also about the opportunities you have to connect with your community and contribute to something meaningful.
In September, we sent a few members of our team to join Greenfleet at their annual Victorian planting day, rolling up their sleeves and taking part in the experience together.
Importantly, the day included respectful participation in a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony. It was an opportunity to show respect for First Nations Australians, recognise the continuing connection of Traditional Custodians to Country, and learn through cultural experience.
Greenfleet’s native forests help absorb carbon, improve soil and water quality and provide habitat for native wildlife, with its work also involving partnerships with local communities and Traditional Owners.
We’re proud of our team for getting involved and bringing to life the kind of participation we value in our people.
